Is it just me or did anyone else remember Anwar make a pronouncement in Singapore just before the elections about the BN losing their two third majority? I remember laughing to myself that he was deluding himself. But now, in hindsight perhaps he was onto something that we, mere mortals were not privy to.
Now, he has given himself a 3 year timeline to become PM. So much for the book "50 reasons why Anwar cannot become PM". Maybe he knows exactly how many BN traitors are waiting to jump ship and he is biding his time.
Whatever the case may be, I am truly staggered by his political comeback. Remembered watching on CNA after his arrest, the reporter asking Azizah if he could make a comeback and she smiled.
Never been swayed by his charisma, but i do agree that he knows how to work a crowd. But he was torn apart on BBC's Hard Talk though. Can't wait to see how Mahathir fared...
